FRAGILTY SEASONS

Video dance developed within the master of choreography at HZT Berlin-Germnay. It is a work where the states of fragility are investigated. It takes as a starting point the isolation, to go gradually into the perception of personal and global fragility. It is a first encounter with the language of the video, which has a very intimate tone.

Then the world entered this new era of confusion and madness. The kiss, the hug, was postponed. The theatre, the airport, the door was closed. And then people knew that even in the most technological age, nature could show us fragility and force us to isolate ourselves. Everything was silenced, and when the doors closed, and we found ourselves there alone, the arrogance fell; the ideas of progress and economic growth were left behind and the possibility of seeing the internal fragility opened up.

"Freud said that human narcissism has three wounds. The first is the theory of Galileo and Copernicus, which displaces man as the center of the universe; the second is Darwin's theory of evolution, which states that man is no longer a privileged being, but descends from the anthropoid apes; and the third wound for Freud is the discovery of the unconscious, where man is no longer master of himself and his own reason". It could be deduced from this that the fourth wound is caused by viruses, especially this one, which has put us in our place, showing how fragile and vulnerable we are:  We are a member of nature.
