B i o g r a p h y.

Colombian choreographer, dancer, physicist and researcher. He began his dance training with the cultural dissemination group of  the National University of Colombia while studying Physics. Then he enters and finishes his dance studies at the Superior Academy of Arts in Bogota, where he obtains the title of Master of Performing Arts with Emphasis on Contemporary Dance.  Currently he is a student of the Master of Arts - choreography of the HZT - Berlin - Germany.


As a dancer he has been part of the dance company of the municipal theater of Bogota (2014-2018), Experimental dance of Bogota(2017), Psoas Coreolab (2013, 2014, 2005-2008), Seis Grados danza(2010-2014), among others.

He is the founding director of Sur creación escénica where he develops his work as a choreographer.

  • 2013. Dancer interpreting the play Collapse Bolero.  Winner of the choreographic contest IDARTES. Professional category. Psoas Coreolab Company (Colombia-Switzerland)

  • 2012. First prize research grant for dance creation. Stimulus Program. Ministry of Culture Colombia. Young creators category . Work: No me olvides, una flor para la memoria.  

  • 2011. First prize IDARTES Stimulus Scholarship for young choreographers with the work  La ley del péndulo.

  • 2011. Dancer selected in the creation residence of the company Provisional Danza (Spain) for the realization of the work ETERNOS in the city of Bogota.

  • 2010. Dancer-creator in the piece ESTADOS, winner of the IDARTES Choreography Competition. Professional category. Six Degree Dance Company.
